- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form each into a loose ball. Do not press them too tightly.

- Heat a griddle or a large heavy-bottomed skillet (cast iron works best) over high heat until it’s hot.
- Place the beef balls on the hot griddle or skillet, leaving plenty of space between them.
