It is recommended to put it first in the fridge before consuming, but when you put it a day or more, it might affect the tapioca texture and the consistency of the milk. But still you may place the container in the refrigerator. The drink can be stored for up to 2-3 days.

Ingredients you’ll need

  • Ripe Mangoes: I used evergreen mangoes in this recipe. You can use any kind of mangoes as long as they are sweet and ripe.
  • Tapioca: You have to be very patient when cooking the tapioca. It might take a little time, but trust me, it will be worth it.
  • Evaporated Milk: I used Nestle since it was the only one available in the pantry. You may use coconut milk instead.
  • Condensed Milk: I always buy condensed milk since I like to add it to my coffee. I used regular condensed milk.
  • Ice: I didn’t have ice cubes left in the freezer, so I just bought two packs of ice from the store and broke them into tiny pieces. It is much easier to use ice cubes.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/5 1 1/5 kilo Ripe mangoes

  • 1/4 1/4 tapioca

  • 1 1/2 cup 1 1/2 evaporated milk

  • 1 cup 1 condense milk

  • ice

Directions

  • Boil the tapioca until the white part disappears, or for about 50 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • When cooked, drain the water and wash the tapioca. Set it aside.Cooked tapioca
  • Next, slice the mangoes into cube-like pieces.
  • Put the mango cubes in a large container that can fit all the ingredients.
  • Add the evaporated milk and condensed milk to the container.
  • Add the tapioca.
  • Stir the mixture and add ice to make it cold.
  • When cold, serve and enjoy!

  • It is not recommended to freeze this drink, as the texture of the tapioca and the consistency of the milk can be negatively affected.
