Ingredients

  • Wrapper
  • 1 piece 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon 1 salt

  • 3/4 cup 3/4 milk

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 all purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon 1 oil

Directions

  • In a bowl, crack one egg and whisk. Add salt and whisk again.
  • Add milk and oil. Mix well.
  • Gradually add the all purpose flour while whisking.
  • Use a strainer remove the lumps.
  • Now, in a pan, apply little amount oil to prevent from sticking and pour 1/3 cup mixture. Spread evenly. (It is better to use non-stick pan)
  • Cook for a minute and 10 seconds. Remove from the pan and assemble your filling. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Grate a little Parmesan or another hard cheese into the batter. It adds a nice, savory flavor that’s really delicious.
  • Try using melted butter instead of some of the oil. It gives the wrappers a richer taste that’s really satisfying.
  • Play around with the amount of batter you use for each wrapper. If you like them thin and delicate, use less batter. For sturdier wrappers, add a bit more.
  • When you pour the batter into the pan, tilt and rotate the pan right away to spread the batter evenly. This helps you get a uniform thickness.
  • If you’re making a bunch ahead of time, layer the cooked wrappers with parchment paper between them. This keeps them from sticking together. Also, cover them with a damp towel to keep them moist.
